⚠️ ATTENTION!
- All wall/play foils are suitable for children from the age of 3 and for indoor use only. If you do not apply the film immediately, please keep it out of the reach of children. It must not be used by children until it is stuck down.
- The film may only be applied to furniture with sufficient surface area. The foils must not protrude beyond the piece of furniture.
- Our play foils may only be used under adult supervision and should be inspected for any damage before use. The piece of play furniture must NOT be used if any parts are damaged.
- If the foil has been completely or partially removed and re-adhered, the toy no longer meets the safety requirements due to altered adhesive properties and must be removed from circulation.
Application instructions
1. Prepare adhesive surfaces
Your IKEA furniture should be clean and free of dust and grease before you start laminate. Therefore, thoroughly clean all furniture surfaces to be glued and then dry them with a cloth.
2. Peel off the backing paper
Small pieces can be completely removed from the backing paper immediately. For large pieces of foil, please peel off only a 10 cm wide strip of the backing paper at the beginning. This prevents the large adhesive surface from sticking to another adhesive surface and makes it easier to apply. It is best to stick large surfaces together with a second person.
Tip: To simplify the process, carefully cut the individual stickers apart with scissors to make them easier to stick
3. Place the film
Now hold the film at two corners and slowly stick it to the surface to be covered. If bubbles appear or you have stuck yourself, you can slowly and carefully peel off the film again at an angle of 45° and reposition it.
Tip: Our films are slightly smaller than the IKEA furniture surface so that nothing protrudes on either side and it is easier for you to align them. Please bear this in mind when applying.
4. Sticking on the foil
You can now peel off the backing paper piece by piece and stick on the film. Use your hand or a cloth to smooth out the film and press out any bubbles.
Instructions for removing the film
We have the following tip for removing the film from the furniture: Heat the film with a hair dryer and carefully and slowly pull it off at a 45° angle. Please note that we do not have any information about the condition of the piece of furniture or your wall at . It is therefore not possible to exclude the possibility that the film may be damaged. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that paint, wallpaper, varnish or other surfaces may be damaged when removing the film.
