A beautiful dollhouse is the dream of many of our little offspring. The FLISAT dollhouse from IKEA is a solid and affordable option, but it could do with a little more glamour. IKEA's doll furniture in particular could be a little more creative for our favourite little people. That's why we've collected a few ideas for you.

Simply pimp IKEA doll furniture with colour

You may be familiar with the two IKEA doll furniture sets* that you can buy from IKEA. These are colourful, squeaky colourful you could say. We don't think that's a bad thing, but we wanted a trendy, Scandinavian-style set dollhouse. After all, Barbie, the Sony Angels and co. aren't satisfied with just anything ;-).

Pimping IKEA doll furniture - this is how it works:

In the first step, we sprayed the IKEA doll's furniture with child-friendly paint. We like the simple furniture colours in white, black, grey and beige, as they can be perfectly combined with other colourful accessories. Colourful cushions, pictures, rugs, vases, etc. Almost like in real life. We opted for white for our furniture. We were amazed at how easy it was to spray the IKEA doll's furniture and that no ugly "noses" were created during the painting process. Anyone can do it and it really looks great!

A beautiful tipi for your dollhouse - free craft template

We love the IKEA doll furniture, but it's still missing the icing on the cake at dollhouse. How about a teepee that fits perfectly into the FLISAT dollhouse? Nothing could be easier! Simply print out our free template for the tipi on slightly thicker printer paper. We have created two alternatives depending on the colour of your interior and in line with current colour trends: grey and white or black and white. After all, IKEA doll furniture shouldn't be outdated either.

What you need:

Free craft template in black or grey
some skewers
Glue

It's so easy to make the teepee

Print out the PDF craft template on sturdy paper
Cut out the tipi and crease the folded edges
Unfold the two side sections at the entrance to the tipi so that it looks like a tent. Then glue the adhesive flap.
Glue the wooden sticks into the folded edges from the inside. The end of the sticks should stick out at the top to make it look particularly real.
