Alongside the IKEA DUKTIG play kitchen, the LIDL play kitchen is a popular gift for little minis. We are often asked whether we also offer accessories for the LIDL Playtive wooden kitchen. One of our customers has found a great solution that we don't want to withhold from you.

New splendour for the LIDL play kitchen

play kitchen has always been one of the favourite role-playing games for children. And the LIDL wooden kitchen offers a number of advantages. The price of 49.99 euros is a compelling argument. What's more, a LIDL shop is often quicker to reach than one of the IKEA stores. However, the LIDL Playtive play kitchen is not available all year round and often sells out quickly. However, anyone who has got hold of one of the popular children's kitchens and wants to decorate it creatively according to their own wishes will search in vain for matching accessories. Wibke, one of our dear customers, dared to experiment and pimped the LIDL play kitchen instead of the IKEA play kitchen with our adhesive foils and handles. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and would like to show you how you too can transform your LIDL play kitchen.

LIDL play kitchen Accessories: What you need

Our design decal are customised to fit the IKEA DUKTIG play kitchen perfectly. But you can also use our foils to creatively remodel the LIDL wooden kitchen in just a few simple steps. What you need:

Decal for the play kitchen, e.g. TRIANGLIG dark blue
Leather handles
Cutter knife
Punch pliers
Fabric scissors
Drill
short screws

It is best to measure how much film you need for your LIDL play kitchen before buying the film so that you know whether the decal is sufficient for your purposes. If not, you can supplement the rest with our yard goodssupplement the rest.

Pimp LIDL play kitchen - step by step instructions

Backsplash laminate

Firstly, measure the size of the backsplash of your LIDL play kitchen. Then cut the film with the pattern to fit your measurements. The best way to do this is with a sharp cutter knife. Now clean the surface and stick on your cut film.

Compartments and front laminate

Now cover the upper compartments and the front door with the single-colour film. To do this, unscrew the old handles from the LIDL play kitchen, measure the surfaces and cut the film to size with the cutter knife. Now you can also cover the compartments and the door laminate.

Attach handles

Put the finishing touches to the play kitchen with new handles. Cut the leather handles to the right length for your LIDL kitchen using fabric scissors. You can punch new holes in the handles using a hole punch. You may need to enlarge the existing holes in the play kitchen with a drill. Now you can attach the handles to the kitchen with shorter screws.
