How to make the children's post

Firstly, cut out the cardboard strips that will become your dividers. Stick these into the IKEA box*. Then grab the yellow paint and give your children's post its typical bright yellow colour. The box used to be available in bright yellow, but unfortunately IKEA has discontinued this colour. Then all you have to do is stand the box upright and your children's post is ready!

Letters to Father Christmas & Co.

Do you know the towns of Himmelsstadt, Engelskirchen and Nikolausdorf? Our Limmaland letterbox shows these emptying points for a reason, because these places really do exist. And your children can send their Christmas post there! If the wish list post arrives there by 22 December, it will even be answered before Christmas. The post to Father Christmas, the Christ Child and Father Christmas is sent to different places in Germany. Wish lists and letters to Father Christmas are processed in Himmelpfort and Himmelsthür, while letters to the Christ Child can be sent to Engelskirchen, Himmelpforten and Himmelstadt. St Nicholas gets his mail sent to St Nicholas' Village and St Nicholas's. It is somehow logical that the branches of the three heavenly friends are more orientated towards the north of Germany: after all, that is closer to the NORTH of Germany ;). You can find all the addresses for wish lists via the link. And please don't forget to give your kids their return address!

Kiosk for children's post

And where is the best place to play children's post? We at Limmaland love to use furniture in completely different ways and create creative play worlds. But sometimes you just don't have any more space in the children's room. That's when our DIY play shop sticker comes in handy. The LILLE BUD is actually intended as a play shop or market stall. But we think it's just as good for playing post!
